After graduating high school Shelby wanted to stay involved with volleyball so she started reffing within the OVR. While that was fun, she missed being a part of a team, so after two years she began coaching at Elite VBTC. She coached there for five seasons before transitioning to Rogue. Shelby has known since high school that she wanted to be a coach and share her passion for volleyball with youth players.
