Mackenna began coaching during the 2024–2025 club season as the head coach of the 11 GO team, where the group earned a tournament championship and multiple high Gold bracket finishes. For the 2025 season, she is excited to continue with the same athletes as the head coach of the 12 GO team. Beyond the club season, Mackenna has also been involved in developing players through summer and fall leagues, clinics, and open gyms. As a coach, Mackenna strives to instill confidence and a strong work ethic in every player. Believing that hard work is always rewarded, she hopes to help athletes carry these values not only onto the court but also into their everyday lives. Her ultimate goal is to guide players in growing their skills, character, and love for the game the same way volleyball has shaped her.
