Josh is excited and ready to get the 6th year of ROGUE underway. He believes we saw great progress from all of the kids both on and off of the court and thinks we will do nothing but grow from here.
He began his career with a club team he started for his sister and her friends. Being basketball and softball players, his goal was to allow them to play club volleyball congruently with their other team schedules. Later that same year, he started Westerville Central High School's Boy's Volleyball program. The team ranked as high as 8th in the state in their inaugural season. Continuing his high school coaching career, Josh also spent time coaching both the Gahanna Lincoln and Olentangy Orange High School Girl’s programs.
In addition to his high school coaching tenure, Josh spent the next 10 years coaching at both the collegiate and club levels, enjoying many successes along the way.
At the Division 1 Collegiate level, Josh helped lead Moorhead State University to a conference championship and the school's first ever NCAA tournament appearance. During his time at Ohio State University, the team was ranked as high as 12th by the AVCA Coaches Poll and had wins against top 5 programs.
At the Club level, Josh is the First coach in Central Ohio to qualify a team at the 18 OPEN level. In addition, he has coached teams that have ranked in the top 25 in the country and has qualified numerous teams for USAV Nationals with many podium finishes.
